OUR HISTORY
1985
10 growers chose to leave Sun Maid (the raisin co-op) with their 3,000 tons of raisins, formed Caruthers Raisin Packing, located in the heart of the great San Joaquin Valley of California, just 15 minutes southwest of Fresno.
1989
The company moved from packing industrial and food service bulk and expanded into Private Label packing.
1991
Caruthers became the first California Raisin packer to be BRC certified and a member of SEDEX.
1997
The company was packing and shipping over 15,000 tons of raisins.
2006
We opened our new packing plant designed with state of the art equipment and a completely wash down interior.
2009
Over 20,000 tons is being processed and packed throughout the world.
2013
Largest private label packer of California raisins for all of Europe.
